Andy Slater
Global Consulting Managing Director

Andy leads our global consulting communities, bringing over 30 years of experience in the rail industry. He specialises in programme and commercial management and is a seasoned Board-level advisor known for his strategic insight, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills across both public and private sectors. His expertise spans rolling stock strategies, high-speed and urban rail, as well as the mobilisation and delivery of Train Operating Companies and light rail operations.

Matt Phillips
Regional Director North America

Matt leads our North America consulting services. He’s an acknowledged expert intelligent transportation systems, digitally enabled transformation, technology management, and the integration of complex systems. As a proven business leader with extensive experience in C-suite roles and board-level operations, his global career has included senior positions with Arup, Atkins, Bechtel, Hitachi, Lockheed Martin, and SNC-Lavalin.

Kyle Cotterill
Regional Director UK & Ireland

Kyle leads our UK & Ireland Consulting Services and has a strong track record in delivering major transport programmes. He has led key workstreams for clients including Transport for London, Hitachi, and Bombardier, driving depot setup, asset optimisation, and product introduction. Known for embedding Lean practices, building high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence, Kyle brings energy, innovation, and results to every project.

David Kistner
Advisory Global Director

David leads our Advisory Consulting Services and brings over 20 years of senior leadership experience across the UK and international rail sectors. His expertise spans programme leadership, train operations, business management, and rolling stock acquisition. David excels in delivering complex, transformational projects, managing cross-functional teams, navigating commercial and contractual challenges, and aligning strategies with both client and organisational goals.

Lorna Derrick
Strategic Growth & Partnerships Director

Lorna leads our business development team. She focuses on expanding market presence, building client relationships, and aligning services to future industry needs. With senior roles at BEIS and Hitachi Rail, and a background spanning government, policing, and rail, Lorna has a unique blend of leadership and innovation. She is a respected industry voice, Vice Chair of RIA North, and a steering group member for Women in Rail Scotland.

Michael Grace
Growth & Acquisitions Director

Michael leads our Acquisitions and Growth function, bringing over 40 years of global rail industry experience. A commercially focused leader, he has held senior roles for more than three decades. Mike brings deep expertise in operational performance, cost optimisation, and stakeholder management, with a proven ability to lead complex, multi-stream projects across the UK, Europe, Australia, North America, and South America.

Guy Redfern
Delivery Global Director

Guy leads our Delivery Consulting Services and is a highly experienced Project Manager with a strong track record in delivering asset reliability and turnkey projects. He has worked with major clients including Bombardier, Alstom, Wabtec, and Hitachi Rail. With broad expertise across production, engineering design, product introduction, and maintenance, Guy brings a well-rounded, practical approach to rail project delivery.

Magnus Conn
Scotland & Ireland Regional Director

Mag leads our Scotland and Ireland consulting activity, bringing over 35 years of experience in the UK rail industry. A Chartered Engineer and senior leader, he is known for delivering complex programmes within regulated, unionised environments. Mag has led major projects for Caledonian Sleeper, Serco, ScotRail, and Interfleet, and is recognised for his sharp strategic thinking, fast execution, and proven ability to lead high-performing teams.

Andy Walker
Operations Director

Andy leads Operations for TXM Consult and brings over 20 years of global rail industry experience. He has delivered projects for Bombardier, Hitachi Rail, and Huber+Suhner India. With expertise in rolling stock design, depot upgrades, asset optimisation, and signalling integration, Andy combines technical know-how with commercial insight to drive innovation, improve reliability, and lead successful product introductions.

Luke Stevenson
Commercial Director

Luke is a proactive and results-focused Commercial Director with extensive experience across major rail projects in the UK and Australia. He provides strategic commercial leadership, guiding transformation and change management initiatives that drive sustainable growth and ensure the Group’s continued competitiveness.
