Lauren Calder began her career as an apprentice on the Caledonian Sleeper programme with Serco, where she gained invaluable hands-on experience supporting one of the UK’s most complex new train introductions. Her time on the project built a strong foundation in operations, programme delivery, and working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

She went on to broaden her expertise in the defence sector with Babcock, where she worked on critical programmes and developed a deeper understanding of strategic planning and stakeholder engagement in highly regulated settings.

Now a Senior Consultant at TXM Consult, Lauren supports clients across the rail and infrastructure sectors with strategy, transformation, and delivery. Her diverse experience and calm, collaborative approach allow her to bridge the gap between technical detail and big-picture thinking, making her a trusted partner for clients navigating complex challenges.

Mason joined TXM Consult in 2023 as an apprentice and quickly stood out for his energy, curiosity, and dedication to learning. His enthusiasm for the rail industry and hands-on approach earned him recognition as Employee of Q3 2023.

Now progressing as an Apprentice Consultant, Mason continues to build his expertise through project delivery and technical work, particularly within TXMC’s Door Systems Specialist programme. His journey from apprentice to consultant-in-training is a testament to his commitment, growth mindset, and passion for the industry.
